Abstract
In a perfect world it would be possible to solve all moulding problems by using the 'right mould' on the 'right machine' processing the 'right material'. This would yield 100% perfect parts at the lowest possible cost. However, moulders have to operate in the real world with all the constraints that entails. Adam Maltby of Croda Polymer Additives describes how this can be achieved and introduces some case studies.
