Abstract
The self-assembly of miktoarm star terpolymers provides a powerful route to obtain complex microstructures. Here we use self-consistent field theory to investigate the melt morphologies self-assembled from A(BC)3 Â 4-miktoarm star terpolymers composed of a homopolymer arm A and three copolymer arms BC. A variety of ordered microstructures are predicted by controlling the volume fractions of different components and the Flory-Huggins interaction parameters. At the same time a series of order-order and order-disorder transitions are observed. The results may be helpful for the design of novel microstructures.
