Abstract
Spin entropy wave (second sound) propagation in Superfluid 3He-A1 is used to measure Ginszburg-Landau parameters, to observe nonlinear propagation due to texture deformations, to observe kinetically driven texture transitions, and to extract spin diffusion coefficient from attenuation coefficient. Magnetic fountain effect detector is used to measure the magnetization relaxation in A1 phase with and without the presence of Superfluid interfacial boundaries. Fields up to 11 T are applied to produce A1 phase.
