Abstract
It is seen that the T-evolution of the Fermi arc is much related to the restoration of the spontaneous symmetry breaking in underdoped cuprates. The restoration temperature, Tres(kËF), which depends strongly on the direction of the Fermi momentum, is introduced. In the present theoretical formula, it is shown qualitatively that the electrical resistivity in the normal state becomes approximately linear in temperature in high-Tc cuprates.
