Abstract
Herein, β-indium sulphide (In2S3) sub-micron particles with cage-like network structures were synthesized via the sonochemical route. The time for ultrasonic treatment of the alcoholic solution of indium chloride and thioacetamide was found to be the prime factor for the formation of a cage-like network structure. The product was characterized by several techniques.
