Abstract
We develop a multi-dimensional simulation code based on the coupled wave equation for optical parametric chirped pulse amplification involving frequency chirp, beam divergence, walk-off effect, group-velocity mismatch, group-velocity dispersion, and diffraction. We demonstrate numerically transverse narrowing, spatial dispersion and central-wavelength shifting effects in the signal beam for a conventional noncollinear geometry.
