Abstract
► The theory of stochastic dynamics of an inhomogeneous quantum system is explored. ► The noise process is multiplicative and the dissipation is state-dependent. ► Non-linear system-bath coupling affects the pre-exponential factor of the rate. ► Other than Arrhenius, an additional exponential factor is also temperature dependent. ► The later effect is a result of quantization which is entangled with dissipation.
