Abstract
► We model three large Mexican metropolitan zones using a Vicsek-Szalay approach. ► We intend to understand population spatial distributions in a geographical space. ► We study some fractal dimensions such as mass-radius for each zone. ► We verified that the Zipf law is fulfilled by our simulated urban morphologies. ► Our model outcomes when compared with real data are acceptable.
