Abstract
Identification has wide applications in the area of network communications. Based on teleportation and entanglement swapping in quantum optics, a quantum identification scheme for distributed network is proposed. The theoretical scheme uses distributed client/server authentication architecture and its unconditional security is guaranteed by quantum mechanism. Compared with previous point-to-point schemes, the proposed cross-center quantum identification scheme extends the authentication distance, enlarges the authentication coverage and is more flexible and practical.
