Abstract
The harmonic generation (from 3rd to 9th orders) in molybdenum plasma using 5 mJ, 300 ps, 795 nm heating radiation and 3 mJ, 130 fs, 795 nm probe radiation was investigated. The spectra, conversion efficiencies, and other parameters of harmonics, as well as plasma characteristics were analyzed. The conversion efficiency of 3rd harmonic generation was measured to be 5Â ÃÂ 10â4. The conversion efficiency was decreased by 10 times for each next order of harmonics.
