Abstract
We use Fractional-order Fourier series expansion for the analysis and the reconstruction of chirped pulses or signals. We show that chirped pulses can be decomposed on a basis of linearly chirped function and a few expansion functions. This decomposition technique can be applied to the study of high-order chirps. It can be further used to filter normally disturbed chirped signals in module and phase.
