Abstract
We study a variety of spin systems with randomness in order to investigate the performance of the quantum error correcting codes. We show that the duality formalism is useful to search the locations of the critical points for the random spin systems, which gives us the clue to the exact values of the accuracy thresholds for the topological error correcting codes.
