Abstract
In this paper, we study the three-option evolutionary minority game with imitation on small-world networks. Numerical results show that the performance of the system depends on the ways of modifying the gene values as well as the points awarded to the agents belonging to the intermediate populated group. Better cooperation can be obtained through local communication within the agents.
