Abstract
The effective field theory within a probability distribution technique that accounts for the self spin correlation functions is used to study the magnetic properties of the ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic bilayer (A-B) system described by the S=12 and S=32 (with the anisotropy D in the sublattice B) Ising model. The thermal behaviors of magnetizations, the magnetic hysteresis loops and longitudinal susceptibility are examined in detail.
