Abstract
The linear viscoelastic behavior of dilute and concentrated particulate composites is investigated. New models for the complex Young modulus are developed for concentrated particulate composites with high volume fraction of filler, using a differential scheme along with the solution of an infinitely dilute system. The dispersed phase and the matrix are treated as incompressible viscoelastic solids in the derivation. The proposed models are evaluated using the available experimental data on pore-solid and particulate composites.
