Abstract
Thermal, optical and electrochemical properties of phenyl-substituted disilanes have been investigated. Phase-transition temperature increased with increasing the number of phenyl substitutents. Ï-Ï Conjugation effect by the introduction of phenyl-substitutents also strongly affected LUMO levels of disilanes with slight change of their HOMO levels.
