Abstract
The crystal structure of a quaternary compound Ce3CuSnSe7 was determined by means of X-ray single crystal diffraction: La3CuSiS7 structure type, space group P63, Pearson symbol hP24, a = 1.0637(1) nm, c = 0.6254(1) nm, R1=0.0297, wR2=0.0368. Magnetic studies revealed the presence of magnetic moments localized on Ce3+ ions that order at TN = 5 K with a complex antiferromagnetic-like spin structure.
