Abstract
Strontium lantanum gallate SrLaGaO4 tetragonal single crystal was investigated by white beam synchrotron radiation topography. Projection and section topographs were taken in back reflection and transmission geometry. The central “core” crystal region was practically free of defects; only one extended “oval” defect with strong boundary contrast was observed. The strong white-black contrasts connected with elongated volume defects and cracks were observed in surrounding the “core” region.
