Abstract
Bi nanorods and NiBi particles were prepared using a simple hydrothermal reduction method at moderate temperatures of 150 °C. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) reveals pure Bi nanorods with diameters of about 50 nm and superconducting NiBi particles. The magnetic susceptibility (Ï) of the superconducting NiBi was measured as a function of temperature at 10 Oe.
