Abstract
ZrPt intermetallic compound was studied by perturbed angular correlation (PAC) method. The hyperfine interaction parameters and their temperature dependences for 181Hf/181Ta and 111In/111Cd radioactive probes were determined. An unusual temperature dependence of hyperfine interaction parameters for 181Ta probe atoms points to the appearance of a monoclinic variant of CrB-type phase below 573Â K and confirms the existence of the orthorhombic Bf-type phase at temperatures up to 1023Â K.
