Abstract
The cathode material La1âxSrxCuO3âδ (x = 0.15, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) was synthesized by a sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction revealed it to form a single phase of perovskite. The investigation of the electrical properties suggested that La0.7Sr0.3CuO3âδ has the highest electrical conductivity. La0.7Sr0.3CuO3âδ has better electrochemical properties than La0.6Sr0.4CoO3âδ. When using La0.7Sr0.3CuO3âδ as cathode based on SDC electrolyte one can obtain higher current density and power density at intermediate temperatures.
