Abstract
The magnetoelasticity of the U2Fe13.6Si3.4 and Lu2Fe13.6Si3.4 single crystals has been studied by magnetization measurements along the principal axes under hydrostatic pressure. The contributions from the Fe and U sublattices to the magnetic moment, magnetic anisotropy and magnetoelasticity of U2Fe13.6Si3.4 are discussed.
