The Formation of the Propulsive Industries of Economic Development Acting as the Growth Poles of Regions

Sci***entific and practi**cal provisions for the formation of the propulsive industries of economic development acting as the growth poles of regions are developed in the article. An analytical review of the theories of Russian and foreign authors concerning the formation of growth poles is carried out; the growth poles theory is adapted to the conditions of a particular region. Methodical principles of the formation of the ‘growth poles’ of the region are developed on the basis of the proposed system of indicators characterizing the industries as propulsive, taking into account the factors of leadership and the factors creating additional effect; On the basis of the qualitative and quantitative methods of regional economy management, the components of the ‘spontaneous’ and ‘planned’ efficiency of the growth poles functioning have been identified.
