The paper aims to illustrate the economic situation as a whole, at a time when the world is recovering after an intense crisis whose effects are still challenging the national economies. The euro zone recovered, developed countries managed to counteract the negative impact on economy, medium levelled economies revealed spectacular development but there are still a lot of fields struggling to regain pre crisis achievements and a lot of challenges which countries have to cope with and opportunities to take advantage of.
