Abstract
The problem of nonlinear waveguiding in multiple quantum wells structures is solved numerically. We propose an extension of the “Orthogonal Collocation Method” in order to treat various realistic waveguiding problems in these multiple-layer semiconductor structures. The simulation results may be an important factor in designing multiple quantum wells which are widely used in optical signal processing devices.
