Abstract
Relative state selective (n) single electron capture cross sections are calculated for low energy collisions involving bare oxygen and nitrogen ions and neutral H and O, using a three body classical trajectory Monte Carlo (CTMC) method. The population of states are studied as a function of relative collision speed and ionization potential of the active target electron, and compared with other theoretical calculations and experimental data.
