Abstract
We present three-body classical trajectory Monte-Carlo calculations for ionization in slow (1-50Â keV/u) N+ on Ar collisions. According to the calculations, at smaller projectile energies ionization occurs mostly due to multiple scattering processes. At 1Â keV/u impact energy, we found rather long (6-14-fold) scattering sequences.
