Abstract
The charge exchange between a negative hydrogen ion and a thin aluminum disk is considered. The electron transfer problem was solved by the Wave-Packet-Propagation method, which does not involve the perturbation theory. Discrete structures of energy levels inside the disk confer specific features of charge transfer. For the first time, the quantum-size effect was demonstrated for such a system.
