Abstract
The coherent bremsstrahlung (CBS) at colliders with short bunches is considered. CBS is a radiation of particles of one bunch in the collective electromagnetic field of the oncoming bunch. We give the simple qualitative description of CBS. It seems that CBS can be a potential tool for fast control over collisions and for measuring beam parameters. A short review about present activity at the RHIC and CESR colliders is presented.
