Abstract
The process of coherent radiation emerging at the collision of a relativistic electron bunch with a short bunch of relativistic charged particles is considered. The effect of suppression of the coherent radiation in this case is suggested. It is shown, that this effect is similar to the Landau-Pomeranchuk-Migdal effect of suppression of the radiation by relativistic electrons in a thin layer of amorphous and crystalline matters.
