Abstract
The effect of blood-storing conditions on the detection of hemoglobin from the whole human blood by the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) method is described. These conditions are the consistence of the blood sample, time and temperature of blood storing. α-Cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid was used as a desorption matrix for this work.
