Abstract
The US Administration is taking bold steps to implement the President's vision for remote sensing and applications. Concurrently, the ESE is implementing an architecture, and aligning systems, research and resources to this end, defining six scientific themes to frame mission concept selection and system development. In parallel, applications and technologies are being initiated and expanded to advance NASA-sponsored observations and predictions into practical-use models and decision support tools.
