Abstract

We live in the information society, in an era of rapid technological advancements and digital revolution, where a lot of our daily activities take place in an online world, both in personal and professional life. The role of Social Media Networks is a dominant component. The web 2.0 applications, e.g. Facebook, started several years ago, and a new technological period has begun. By using a user-friendly interface about the content of e-Learning platform via Social Media Networks, we will see how convenient would be for students if the content of e-Learning is uploaded to a Social Media Network such as Facebook, the most popular social media. The originality of the work lies in the exploration of the relationship of two different types of web 2.0 applications, such as social networks and e-Learning. The SPSS software package assists to draw useful conclusions by using techniques e.g. chi-square and factor analysis.
