Abstract
High-quality single crystals of naphthalene have been grown using selective self-seeding vertical Bridgman technique (SSVBT). The grown crystals were subjected to proton NMR, FT-IR, FT-Raman and X-ray rocking studies. Fluorescence emission and fluorescence lifetime measurement have been carried out to estimate the quality of the grown crystals.
