Abstract
Silica coated bismuth sulfide (Bi2S3) nanorods have been prepared by a simple coating process. The coating resulted in the improved stability and luminescent intensity of the Bi2S3 nanorods. Hollow silica nanotubes were also obtained by using Bi2S3 nanorods as a removal template.
