Abstract
Porous FeIn2S4 microspheres have been synthesized via a convenient hydrothermal route. FESEM observation reveals that the sample is composed of a large number of porous microspheres constructed with nanoflakes. Meanwhile, the electrochemical properties of FeIn2S4 demonstrate that it delivers a large discharge capacity, which might find possible application as an electrode material in lithium cells. It is also found that the reaction temperature is of importance to the formation of porous FeIn2S4 microspheres.
