Abstract
One-dimensional (1D) nanorods PbF2(1âx)Br2x (x=0.15,0.3) were selectively prepared under ambient conditions in different solution by using Pb(CH3CO2)2·H2O, KF and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) or KBr as precursors. The as-synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-Vis, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The possible growth mechanism of lead dihalides nanorods is discussed.
