Abstract
The aim of this contribution is to demonstrate how nonlocal interface equations emerge in different contexts of crystal growth. Various examples of systems producing nonlocal interface equations will be exhibited and the corresponding dynamical evolution scenarios will be discussed. In addition, both practical and generic aspects of these equations will be pointed out.
