Abstract
Results of the numerous crystals behavior observations in various supersaturated sodium chlorate solutions are presented. Significant differences in the growth rate of various crystals were observed, even though they were grown under the same external conditions. Size-dependent crystal growth was studied. In particular, growing and non-growing crystals with initial sizes below the estimated critical size were analyzed. The results are discussed in accordance with BCF and lattice strain crystal growth theories.
