SMEs’ Perception on Cloud Computing Solutions

The online business environment has brought with it many development solutions of the activities that are specific to SMEs. In the recent years, the cloud computing has emerged as the new model and solution that brings important benefits to companies adopting it. Along with the aspects related to cloud computing solutions, the paper presents the results of a study regarding SMEs’ perception on cloud computing solutions, on the specific tools of such solutions as well as on the benefits obtained by adopting these solutions. The study was carried out from the perspective of a company providing such solutions and identifies the level and the stage of awareness of SMEs located in Romania's North-West development region, regarding the cloud computing solutions. The obtained results are useful for both ITC solution providers and for SMEs using or planning to use cloud solutions.
