Abstract
Magnetization reversal process in a tilted magnetic field was investigated for CoCrTaPt thin films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. Angular-dependent magnetic properties studied by the Hall effect analysis and VSM measurement suggested strong influence of the Pt content in the magnetization process. Specimen with Pt content of 6 at% indicated magnetization rotation type reversal dominant, while the Pt-rich (12at%) specimen was considered to reverse by a combination of magnetization rotation and domain wall motion.
