Abstract
Spin selective electron transport across a submicron Fe wire/GaAs(0Â 0Â 1) interface is studied under optical spin orientation. A significant bias dependence of the difference between photocurrents for two different single domain structures with opposite magnetic orientations is observed at room temperature, which we attribute to the spin selective transport effect of spin polarized electrons excited in GaAs across the interface.
