Abstract
Perovskite La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 (LCMO)/La2/3Sr1/3CoO3 (LSCO) and LSCO/LCMO bilayer films have been fabricated on single-crystal NdGaO3 substrates (1Â 1Â 0), and their transport and magnetic properties have been investigated. The magnetoresistance of the bilayer LSCO/LCMO is about 1.7% under the field of 10Â kOe at 230Â K, whereas that of the bilayer LCMO/LSCO is larger and is â¼10%. A waist-like hysteresis loop occurs in LSCO/LCMO, while a single-step one in LCMO/LSCO. The behavior is explained by some magnetic coupling.
