Abstract
The frequency (100 Hz-1 MHz) and temperature (450-575 °C) dependence of impedance spectroscopy of (1−x)Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3-xNaNbO3 (x=0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08) system ceramics was investigated by the impedance analyzer. The effect of NaNbO3 concentration on the electrical properties of NBT was analyzed by the impedance data. The frequency explicit plots of Z″ versus frequency at various temperatures show peaks in the higher temperature range (⩾450 °C). The relaxation peaks are affected by the NaNbO3 concentration. The Arrhenius activation energies have been computed from the impedance data. From the investigations of dielectric properties as a function of temperature, it is observed that diffuse phase transition (DPT) is exhibited in these specimens.
