Abstract
Sr1âxLaxTiO3 (0 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.4) buffer layers were fabricated on Ni (2 0 0) tapes using chemical solution deposition method. The XRD results showed that with the increasing of La composition the crystallization decreased when the annealing temperature was fixed. The observation of FE-SEM showed that the grain size decreased with La composition increasing in the range of 0 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.2, then the grains coalesced again in the x = 0.3 and 0.4. The results showed that it was possible to fabricate high-quality conductive Sr1âxLaxTiO3 buffer layers for YBCO coated conductors.
