Abstract
Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) diamond particle detectors have been developed as a radiation tolerant replacement or upgrade to present detectors in extreme radiation environments. During the past few years devices have been manufactured and tested with fast, radiation-hard electronics. In this paper, we discuss the present status and recent progress achieved.
