Abstract
A new database (DBNR) is prepared based on the Nuclear Data from the Joint Evaluated File Library (NDJEF) for use in scattered neutron radiography and ordinal radiography. The new database includes a data handling tool. As a result, users can easily extract nuclear data from a file on a personal computer. The database contains nuclear data from naturally existing stable elements and some chemical compounds and alloys in an energy range from 10â5 to 10+7 eV. Within the limitation, total, scattering, (n, γ) and (n, α) cross-sections can be arbitrary extracted for the desired elements and energy ranges. In this work, scattered neutron intensities are calculated for a sample with a simple shape.
