Abstract
We have searched for lepton flavor violating semileptonic Ïâ decays using a data sample of 153.8 fbâ1 accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+eâ collider. For the six decay modes studied, the observed yield is compatible with the estimated background and the following upper limits are set at the 90% confidence level: B(Ïââeâη)<2.3Ã10â7, B(Ïââμâη)<1.5Ã10â7, B(ÏââeâÏ0)<1.9Ã10â7, B(ÏââμâÏ0)<4.1Ã10â7, B(Ïââeâηâ²)<10Ã10â7, and B(Ïââμâηâ²)<4.7Ã10â7. These results are 10 to 64 times more restrictive than previous limits.
