Abstract
Using the Landshoff-Nachtmann model of the pomeron, rapidity and transverse momentum distributions of gluon jets produced by double pomeron exchange in pp (pp¯) collisions are calculated. The comparison with the CDF Run I results on the central inclusive dijets production cross sections is performed. We find the model to give correct order of magnitude for the measured cross sections.
