Abstract
We locate the glass transition lines in the temperature-density plane for supercooled fluids of particles interacting with an inverse-power rân potential in the cases n=4,6,9 and 12, using a mean-field hypernetted chain approximation within the replica-symmetry-breaking scenario. We discuss the relationship between the glass transition and the equilibrium freezing transition for all cases in comparison with the hard-sphere system (n=â) and the one-component classical plasma (n=1).
